Ceremonial Drums

These sacred ceremonial tools are made for you. We consult about intention, and materials used to create these musical, ritual instruments to help connect you with the making process.

Animal hides and wood materials are sourced from a local native vendor, some may be imported (like reindeer hide). Attention is made to reciprocal relationship with the spirit of the trees, animals or plant beings whose bodies become these vessels for healing and ceremony.

Sidheag is currently offering Ceremonial Drums with maple frames, and hides of deer, elk, horse, or buffalo and reindeer when available. Finished sizes offered: 15″, 16″ or 18″ diameters.

Ceremonial Rattles are also offered and made of animal hides with foraged fallen tree limbs and branches. They are crafted in customized shapes and sizes.

Prices reflect materials market-rate with a small markup and artisan labor costs.

Rattles: $45 – $70

Drums: $300 – $575 considering design, skin, handle and embellishment
